Ways to really SAVE $$$ as a retiree!

As I have mentioned before, I am a retiree who enjoys seeing the world. After saying "NO MORE" to Panama City beach FL for the winter months, we have found some great new spots to visit.  Also as you can see, I have refound my blogspot & can share my thoughts again w/someone?  Not sure how all this works but i do see that no one visited my blog which means that i am doing something wrong!!  I have to figure this one out too!
So last September we decided to go to Turkey and Greece on a budget.  We stayed for almost a month & spent under 6,000 dollars, flight & everything, fine dining every day, etc. This was for 2!  We went to Athens first, Rhodes, Kalkan, Turkey for 2 weeks, back to Rhodes, back to Athens.  It was a great trip & lots of beautiful sights, especially on Rhodes.  Wish we could have done Icarous & Santorini, the greek islands.  Food was fabulous.  That seems to be a big topic among Seniors, right?  If anyone is interested about the hotels we chose, just ask!

This past winter, we went to St Pete Beach in FL.  I have advice about that too, if u need it.  Good places to eat, etc.  We r "Foodies" as u may have guessed by now.

Normally our winter destination is Costa Rica, which is still good for price, fun, etc.  I have lots of info about that to which I w/share if asked.

We also just bought a 25 dollar gadget to put on our tv which gives us lots of channels vs buying cable each mo.  Huge savings!  We may be the only people alive w/o cable.  Think about that!!!!

I do have the tips for those interested.  Also major mony saving food tips.  I w/save 1200 dollars this yr on one cut i made in our budget.  That equals more travel!!!

I am excited to share these w/all of u!!

All for now,
Gramaven
